A Healing Center for Grieving Children and Their Families.

Michael's Place children, individuals, and families meet each Monday evening at Immaculate Conception Elementary School.  The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner for all families and volunteers.  Regularly scheduled sessions provide ongoing support and allow children and adults to interact with their peers who have experienced similar losses.  Services are provided at no charge.

Following dinner, trained volunteers facilitate the following age appropriate groups:

3-6 years old ~ 7-9 years old
10-12 years old ~ 13-18 years old
parents/guardians ~ young adults

All groups are supervised by trained volunteer facilitators.. Activities include art, music, play, story telling and creative writing.

Michael's staff and volunteers are available to provide community presentations on the program and services we offer as well as concerning grief and loss.
